Greg joined our team back in April 2020 as a Client Support Specialist, following more than a decade working in practice across accounts and payroll.
He was quickly promoted to Head of Support and then became Head of Marketplace in December of last year.
“I joined MyWorkpapers because I believe in the product. Having worked in accountancy, I know the challenge that practices face and I really wished I’d had access to something like it when I was an accounts apprentice,” says Greg.
Greg oversees our content and the development of new features, drawing on his experience in practice to make sure all new content and features meet the needs of users.
He says “Whenever we discuss features, the first question I ask myself is ‘would I have used this?’, ‘does this make sense?’ and ‘what is it trying to achieve?’.
“My time in practice has given me some very useful insights to feed into MyWorkpapers.”
Greg is passionate about MyWorkpapers’ mission to transform accountancy, saying: “We’re pushing the accountancy industry forward, some of the things that in the past were perhaps seen as mundane and unexciting, we have been able to automate and improve.
“And that keeps me motivated, knowing that what I do means someone out there will use it, and benefit from it.
“For those just starting out, that might mean having a better and more interesting day at work, while for managers and Partners, it might mean better service for clients and increased growth and profitability overall.”
